Did you know you could be making medicated cannabis milk at home? In fact, it’s easier than you think! This simple recipe only calls for two ingredients, milk and cannabis. It’s great for blending into smoothies, ice cream, and other tasty infused treats.
Note: Fat is essential for proper cannabinoid absorption. Therefore, using whole milk is best.

🍴 Serves: 4 servings
INGREDIENTS FOR MEDICATED CANNABIS MILK:
- 4 Cups Whole Milk
- 1/2 Ounce of Cannabis
Grind 1/2 ounce of cannabis until it reaches a fine consistency
Combine milk and ground cannabis into a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk continually to avoid burning. The mixture should not be boiling.
Cook for at least 45 minutes (Why so long? Heat initiates decarboxylation – the process that converts THCA into THC. In order to experience the psychoactive qualities of cannabis, you need THC. Hence why we want heat.🔥)
Remove from heat and let cool.
Using a cheesecloth, strain mixture. (You may have to do this more than once to remove leftover plant material.)
Store in a sealed container in the fridge. (🥛Note: Cannabis milk has a short shelf life. Plan to consume within 2-3 days of making.)
